I’m going to show you two free methods that I’ve had great success with and a that return an instant profit and pay for themselves right out of the gate.
The first free method I want to talk about is using Twitter. Hold on, I know what you’re thinking. This is not another lame get followers and spam the crap out of the method.
In fact, what I’m about to show you has nothing to do with getting even a single follower, but you’ll pick up followers in bunches completely organically, naturally and it doesn’t require you to spend a dime on advertising.
You can even use a brand new account to do this. It requires very little time on your part and you can even outsource it as it’s so simple a 10 year could easily do it.
So, with that said, let’s begin…
As I’m sure you’re aware the audience for Twitter is huge and can be very specific. This is exactly the type of motivated and targeted leads we’re looking for. Now we just need a way to get them to look at our opt in page.
First, use any Twitter account you want. I would recommend you set up a Twitter account with the idea of only using that one for the niche you are promoting. You
can use your own name or a persona, if you want to keep your various niches separate.Next take a look at the trending hashtags for the day. Look for trending hashtags that are somewhat related to your niche, or are general enough that you could talk about your niche within the general concept of the trend.
A hashtag like #GreatGiftIdeas, allows you to tweet about your product for just about any niche. Keep in mind that people that are going to follow through and click are people that are interested in your lead magnet.
As an example, take a look at these trending hashtags. I’m sure you can create a tweet that incorporates one of these…
You could write something like:
#HappyNewYear Pay off those holiday bills fast. http://YourOptinLink.com
And you can just take a few minutes a few times each day and look for trends and tweet about them by including the hashtag.
Can you see how much reach you have? Your tweet appears right in that trending feed, in this case over 21,000 followers. Many of the trending tweets have millions of tweets in their feed. They don’t need to be following you, but many will if they are interested in what you are offering.
Simply tweet 2 or 3 of these a few times a day and you’ll get flooded with traffic to your opt in page and the best part it’s all FREE.
For instance, did you know that YouTube video searches only account for about 13% of the total views on YouTube?
That’s right, and the other 87% of views come from a place you’d never imagine. They come from suggested sidebar videos.
This is what we are going to gear our video efforts to. I’m sure you’ve never seen or heard of this approach. I learned it from a true YouTube master who brings over 1 million views to his videos every month! Believe me this is a real mega traffic generator all by itself.
Explaining how to make videos and upload them to YouTube is really outside of the scope of this content and there are several videos you can search for right on YouTube that cover all of that very well. And you’ll see even more in the sidebar suggested videos…
The main difference from simply creating review videos and posting to YouTube and then ranking them in Google, is that because only around 13% of your traffic comes from Google and YouTube line searches combined, you have to tap into that suggested search traffic on the sidebar alongside other ranking videos.
The way you do that is to create a professional looking channel, verify your web address and place all of your videos about a single niche within that channel.
Once you’ve done that, just to make sure your video will appear alongside those high ranking videos, you’ll need to find out what keywords and tags those videos are using and use them in your file name of your video, the title of your video and pepper your description with them. You should also add them to the tags section of your video.
You can find the tags/keywords of those popular videos simply by right clicking anywhere on the video page, other than the video itself and selecting “View Page Source”. Don’t be too concerned about all this code as the next step is very easy.
Just Press the browser find, (on Firefox it’s Ctrl F) and that will open up a “find in page” box. Then type “keywords”. That will highlight the next occurrence of that phrase and there you will find the list of keywords that you can put in your own tags section of your video to make sure you are seen in the suggested videos when any of those high ranking videos come up.
So let me give you the points that you should make sure you’re following to get the maximum traffic views from YouTube.
The first thing you’ll need to do is to create a channel for your videos. It’s the place where you’ll keep all of your videos, in a given niche. Make sure that your channel only contains videos about a single niche and that it looks professional and inviting. Follow the tips that are in video 05 of the video course included in bonuses section of this course.
Next, your file name for your (mp4) video should be the same as the product you’re selling or the main keyword you’re trying to rank for. Example, House_Train_Your_Puppy.mp4
Search for your keywords in the YouTube search and look at the titles of the highest ranking videos. Make sure your title contains these keywords in your video title. You can use those keywords that you found in the find keywords section we talked about above.
Make sure to enter those tags of the high ranking videos into your own tags section when uploading your videos.
Another thing is to make sure you don’t let YouTube pick the thumbnail for your video. I advise you create or choose more attractive and branded thumbnail for all of your videos to increase engagement.
Make sure to embed your videos on your website with articles or blog posts on it. This really helps. Also you can upload those videos to Facebook.
That should do it. By just setting up your YouTube channel and creating an authority channel in YouTube and Google’s eyes, you can drive unlimited traffic to where ever you want indefinitely.

Yes, the Facebook video view ad is the cheapest way to generate quality traffic. It’s not that I heard it from somewhere. I know it from my experience. From the experience of running this kind of Facebook ad. I had good results with this particular type of Facebook advertisement.
I’m going to show you, how to create and run a Facebook video view ad. Rather, what I want to share is my experience running this particular type of ad and the results I got with it.
Well, whenever I need web visitor to a particular page or offer, I turn to Facebook. I make fan pages and try to engage fans to my offer. I also use Facebook paid ads for traffic. Facebook PPC ads are my favorite traffic getting method. And I value this traffic over solo ad traffic for many reasons!
The reason I like Facebook for traffic is simple. Traffic quality is good there. I’m content to know that there is a real person behind every click I pay on that platform.
Now, there are a few types of Facebook ads to generate paid traffic. I tried almost all of them. Some gave me the bad experience, but I’m satisfied with most of my campaigns.
Among all the campaigns, I got the best results with the Video view ads. They were the cheapest. And results were more than satisfactory.
I create my video view ads with “Power Editor,” which could be found only in Google Chrome browser. Power Editor makes a custom audience in the background from the views I got from running the ad. Later, I can run ads to only those persons that watched my video. This is a super targeted audience!
Check this video on one of my fan pages: https://business.facebook.com/imblueprints/videos/1171202019571654/
I ran the video-view ad after I uploaded the video on my fan page. I set my daily budget at $5 a day. The campaign started at $0.04 per view, but from the 2nd day, the cost began to get lower. Within few days it settled at $0.01 per view. With $20 spent I got 80 leads in my autoresponder account @20 cent per lead. It couldn’t cheaper than this!
Here’s another one of my fan page and ad: https://www.facebook.com/like.a.pro.swing/videos/1509692105995805/
This nine-second video got 124 k views, 593 likes, 104 shares and 166 comments. Well, I didn’t pay Facebook for those 124k views, lol! I ran the video-view ad for few days and then paused the video. But the “Likes,” “Shares,” and “Comments,” continued.
I know you can see the power of Facebook video ads by the two examples I showed above. I want to give you the last bit of advice if you want to go for it. Create and post a video view ad with “Power Editor” rather than Facebook account Ads-manager. It will give you super targeted custom audience without any hassle.
This is a “not so new” method of getting free traffic that I am sure a lot of you have heard about before, but very few people actually do it. I really have no idea why people don’t do this because it’s such an easy way to drive the best traffic to your website for free. In this section we are going to go over forum posting, how to properly do it, and how to use it to generate a good amount of traffic to your website.
Don’t Skip This
Before we get started, I know a lot of you might be tempted to just skip over this. When I was trying to figure out how to build my list, I bought countless WSO’s on list building and a couple of them said to post in forums. I always just skipped past that section because I didn’t believe you can really generate much traffic at all through simply posting in forums a couple time per day, but I was wrong!
Once I started to consistently post in the Warrior Forum I noticed the power of making a couple high quality posts every single day. If you want to build your list as quickly as possible, forum posting should be part of your every day strategy.
Find A Couple Forums
If you are in the internet marketing niche, I can tell you right now the only forum you really need to join is WarriorForum.com. Yes, there are other internet marketing forums out there, but The Warrior Forum generates to most traffic by far.
If you are in another niche, you might want to find a couple forums to join. Finding forums is actually really easy.
You can use Google to help you find forums. Just head over to Google and search “Your Niche + Forum”. Once you search that, Google will return a bunch of forums. Go through them and figure out which ones are the most active and join the most active ones. However, before you join make sure they allow you to leave a link in the signature. Most of them will but there are a few that won’t allow it.
Adding Your Signature
Before you start making posts, you want to leave a link to your squeeze page in your signature that way below each post you make there will be a link to your squeeze page which will get exposed to thousands of people.
Simple signature has been responsible for driving a couple thousand visitors to my squeeze page these past few months.
You Know More Than You Think
It seems like each time I tell someone they need to start consistently posting on forums, they always tell me “but… I don’t know enough to help out other people”. Feeling like you don’t know enough is not an excuse for not posting.
I can guarantee you that you know a lot more than you think. If you browse through some of the threads in Forums, you are going to find some threads you can post in and give your input. The main problem is some people just lack confidence and are afraid they are going to give their opinion and then have others start an argument with them and tell them they are wrong.
Unless you say something completely false and start spamming the forum, this isn’t going to happen. Forums are meant for opinions, sure there might be times where someone doesn’t agree with you, that happens to me all the time, but as long as you aren’t rude to them they won’t be rude to you.
If you feel like you REALLY don’t know anything about your niche, then you can still do forum posting. Just make sure you do a little bit of research before you make a post. There’s nothing wrong with going to Google to look up an answer and then reporting back with what you learned.
So don’t let the fear of “not knowing anything” or the fear of getting in an argument on the forums stop you from making daily posts.
Post On New Threads
If you want to get the most out of your forum posting, you should try to post on new threads that don’t have many (if any) replies yet. If you are one of the first three responders to a new thread, you have a much greater chance of someone reading your response which means they will be exposed to the link in your signature.
If 10-15 people have already replied your reply will get stuck somewhere in the middle and most people don’t read that far down which means they won’t see your reply/signature.
Value Value Value
I think this could go without saying, but I am going to say it anyways because it is extremely important. When you guys make your posts, you need to make sure you are actually adding value to the forum. Don’t just go out and make as many short little posts as you can, that’s not really helping anyone.
Make sure you actually read the persons question and then do your best to give them an answer or chime in with your opinion.
Your Forum Posting Strategy
The thing I love about forum posting is that it doesn’t take long to do at all and I actually find it kind of fun. You get to engage with others who have the same interests as you and drive traffic to your squeeze page at the same time, sounds like a pretty good deal to me!
So how many times per day should you be posting in a forum? I would say to make about 5 high quality posts every single day. 5 posts does not take a long time at all, and once you make 5 posts for about a week straight you will see how much traffic you can actually drive to your squeeze page on a daily basis.
So if you are like me and you have always put aside forum posting and said it’s not for you, I challenge you to try it for just one week.
Make 5 posts every single day for one week and watch how many new subscribers you get. After that week you can decide whether or not it is something you want to continue with. Once you see how many new subscribers you got from doing it I am sure it is something you will want to continue doing. -Courtesy: Bryan Harkins
Before you go out and purchase solo ads, I need to warn you that there are a lot of terrible solo ad sellers out there. Some sellers send either bot clicks or they send extremely low tier 1 traffic.
Some sellers even try to get away with sending traffic directly from terrible traffic sources like adf.ly. You want to find sellers that will send a minimum of 70% tier 1traffic strictly from their own email list.
The good news is there are a lot of great and honest sellers out there who will send you awesome traffic and they are actually really easy to find.
Where To Find Solo Ad Sellers
The Facebook groups! Remember that huge list of Facebook groups I gave you earlier? Well, these groups are full of sellers who promote their services. All you need to do is view a couple of the groups, find some sellers and then send them a message.
What To Look For
Actually, before you send them a message you should go look to see if they have any testimonials. Luckily there is a Facebook group that is dedicated to Solo Ad Testimonials, you can join that group by heading to https://www.facebook.com/groups/SoloAdsTestimonials/ and searching for that persons name.
Searching for the name is really easy, just go to the group and click on the little search button in the upper right hand corner that looks like this:
If the seller has a couple good testimonials, you should send them a message and ask them specific questions. We will go over which questions to ask them below.
The Important Questions To Ask Before You Purchase
Just send them a message letting them know you are interested in purchasing one of their solo ad packages but you have a few questions to ask them first. If the seller is legit, they won’t mind you asking them questions at all. So here are the questions you should ask:
1: How Much Do You Charge Per Click? Obviously you don’t want to overpay for a solo ad. Personally, I never pay more than 45 cents per click and I consider that to be very expensive. I would say on average I pay around 35-38 cents per click.
2: Do You Have A First Time Buyers Discount? A lot of sellers will offer a first time buyers discount just to let the person know how awesome their traffic is and hope they come back for more. If the seller offers a first time buyers discount, that’s great! If not, at least you asked :).
3: Are You A Click Broker? For some reason, “click brokering” has started to become more and more popular. Click brokering is when people with no list or a very small list will go out claiming they have traffic for sale, sell to you at a higher price and then purchase at a lower price. The problem with click brokering is that in order for them to make a profit, they have to find sellers that sell for super cheap, and usually those sellers send terrible quality traffic. So make sure you ask them if they own the list or if they are brokering. If they are brokering you might want to stay away from them.
4: Do You Guarantee A Certain Tier 1 Percentage? This is extremely important to ask. You want to make sure they send you at least 70% tier 1 traffic, so if they guarantee you that they will send a minimum of 70% tier 1 of the original order size and they don’t, then you have the right to ask for a refund or ask for more tier 1 clicks.
Notice I said of the original size. A lot of sellers will over-deliver by about 10%, so if you ordered 100 clicks, they might deliver 110 clicks. If you do the math on that, 70% of 110 is 77 clicks. However, they only need to send you 70 tier 1 clicks because your original order size was 100, not 110. So always do the math based on your order size, don’t include the over-delivery.
5: How Long Does It Take To Deliver The Clicks? Typically, you want the clicks delivered within 72 hours. If the seller can’t deliver the clicks Once you get the hang of purchasing solo ads, you can work your way into purchasing funnel clicks. To be honest, I am slowly starting to make the transition over to purchasing just funnel clicks instead of solo ads because funnel clicks are actually converting better for me and they are cheaper! Some of you might not know what funnel clicks are. I will explain below.
What Are Funnel Clicks
Funnel clicks are clicks that come from sources other than email broadcast messages (well, they can but I will explain that later). The most common place people deliver funnel clicks from is their thank you page or their opt-in redirect page.
Remember how you set up a thank you page or opt-in redirect page for your click banking partners? Well, this is basically the same thing, except instead of people sending clicks to click banking partners, they are selling those clicks to people like you.
Funnel clicks can also come from the PS section in emails or from links in a persons follow up sequence.
Why I Like Funnel Clicks Better Than Solo Ads
There are a couple reasons I am starting to like funnel clicks better than solo ads. However, the main reasons are because they seem to convert better and they are usually cheaper so you can get more subscribers for less money…who doesn’t want that! 😉
Know The Traffic Source Before You Purchase
It is VITAL that you ask funnel click sellers the same exact questions you asked solo ad sellers, except you also want to ask one more questions and the is “What is the source of your traffic”. There are a few sellers who include exit pop traffic in their funnel click packages, and if that’s the case you want to make sure you avoid that seller.
Exit traffic converts terribly and it’s not worth spending money on. Like I said you want to make sure the clicks either come from the thank you page, opt-in redirect page, PS clicks, or follow up sequence clicks.
Where To Find Funnel Click Sellers
You can find funnel click sellers in the same groups you found solo ad sellers and click banking partners, but there is also another group you should join that is specifically for funnel clicks. That group is: https://www.facebook.com/groups/funnelclicks/
I am on that group almost every day purchasing some high quality traffic for a great price! Also, it might take a little longer for you to receive all the clicks you ordered, but that’s ok. Just make sure they send you all the clicks within 10 day or less (unless you ordered a HUGE package of clicks)
If you have been purchasing solo ads, save yourself some money and give funnel clicks a try. Right when I did that my conversions went up about 10% on average which is a HUGE increase when it comes to list building.
within 72 hours of the agreed send date, then they shouldn’t have sold you that many clicks.
As long as the seller has some good testimonials in the Facebook group and you are satisfied with their answer to those questions, you will be able to purchase from them and be confident that they will deliver high quality clicks.
Remember to track the clicks using My Click Boss or another quality tracker. You want to know exactly how many opt-ins you receive from each seller and how many tier 1 clicks they actually sent you.
We’re going to discuss to get traffic to your website without spending a dime is the viral blogging method.
What exactly is viral blogging? Viral blogging is when you purposely post content that is most likely to be shared and therefore, go viral. You might think that every piece of content that you post is specifically intended to be shared and go viral possible, but the difference is that you choose your topics and the format of your posts in very specific ways, that have been shown to be most effective for viral content.
We are going to go over some of these specific content types and show you how to give your posts the best chance to go viral.
How To Get Started With This Method
There are some things that you’re going to want to do no matter what type of content you are posting. These are tips that are the same for all of the content that you’re planning on posting. The first tip is to post on a regular basis. People are more likely to come back and read your content over and over again if you post regularly.
This means posting once a week, preferably on the same day, or whatever your schedule happens to be. You can post every five days, you could post once every two weeks or however you’d like. What you should keep in mind is that you need post regularly enough so that people don’t forget about your content, which generally means posting at least once per week, but not so often that people are overwhelmed by it and can’t read it all. You always want to leave them wanting more.
Keep in mind that you don’t have to write and post your content when you’re scheduled to publish it. If you’re using WordPress, you can schedule your content to be published on a specific date and time and you can write several weeks in advance if you prefer.
Another thing that you want to do is make sure that you use your keywords in both the title and in the post. Do you know what your keywords are supposed to be? If not, you need to do some keyword research and find out what keyword phrases are being searched for when it comes to the content that you’re planning on publishing. Try to find a happy medium between keyword phrases the get a lot of searches and those phrases that have a ton of competition already on the first page of Google results.
As mentioned in the beginning of this book, high-quality images are vital. Make sure that you include images with your content and that they are both high-quality and relevant to the text on the page.
Also, make sure that you don’t pack everything into huge, intimidating blocks of text. Create subheadings so that people can skim the content, and break your text into several different paragraphs with a general rule of no more than 100 words per paragraph. You can have less, and you can even have a little bit more, but use it as a general rule of thumb and remember, varying paragraph lengths are more interesting than several paragraphs in a row all of the same length.
Viral Blogging Content Types
Now, were going to discuss some of the different types of content that are great for creating viral posts that are more likely to be shared than anything else. Each of these types of content is unique and has a different style than other types on this list. With some types of content you may want to include humor or lighthearted writing, and with others you want to avoid humor and take a more serious approach.
In case you’re wondering where this information comes from there have been several studies of different content types to determine what gets shared most often. The market research company BuzzSumo recently analyzed over 100 million articles to discover what gets shared and the results include the post types listed below.
Top Ten Lists
For some reason, top 10 lists seem to do particularly well on social media. In fact, it is specifically the number 10 in top 10 lists the does well. No one knows exactly why this is; it might be because ten is a nice round number or could be because 8 items are too few to make up a decent list and 15 are too many; whatever the reason, research shows the top 10 lists should be part of your viral blogging strategy.
News and Current Events Articles
Not surprisingly, posting the latest news or current events will not only get you noticed, it will also get your content shared. When someone learns something that is considered news their first instinct is to share with others.
Of course, if you learn about things after they have already been posted to most of the major news organizations and websites, creating an article on that news story won’t do you much good. If you can “scoop” other news organizations and get your posts in front of people, the chances are very good that they will share it.
Controversial Topics and Titles
Another content type that is sure to get shared with others (and as a bonus get all kinds of comments posted underneath it) is the controversial topic – with a controversial title. This is especially potent if you can combine controversy with the current event, with the disadvantage of the content not lasting very long. You can also create controversy with blog posts and titles that are evergreen which will keep getting traffic for years to come.
Entertainment and Celebrity News
One content type that is certainly popular is celebrity and entertainment news. The problem is, there is a lot of competition for these articles and topics. There are websites that dominate this market because they cover celebrity entertainment news exclusively. However, that doesn’t mean you should ignore this content type altogether.
You can cover a celebrity and tie it in with your industry. As a hypothetical example, if you were in the business industry, you could talk about how Drake invested in a new company.
Of course, politics is always one of the hot button topics on the Internet. This is a case where publishing a political and controversial article may get your content shared with millions of others. You can always mix two of these types and get better results but politics, combined with controversy in particular, seem to be a potent combination for sharing.
The great thing about this particular topic is that you can share an opinion if you like without any real factual basis – unless of course you are quoting facts to back up your opinions.
How to Promote Your Content
Simply publishing this content isn’t going to be enough. You need to promote your content on social media – but not just the standards like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
You also want to use social bookmarking sites like Digg, Reddit and StumbleUpon. These sites will get you in front of readers who will hopefully take your content and run with it.
PPC – PAY PER CLICK
PPC is one of the most popular forms of paid advertising and is not likely to lose that title anytime soon. Its appeal extends from online marketers to giant corporations, with everyone wanting their piece of the money pie that springs from PPC platforms that populate the online advertising space. And while the PPC environment adapts to changes with new platform providers and regular updates to advertising rules, those who master the method continue to rake in massive paydays from what are very targeted and highly converting buyer customer bases.
Why PPC ads work
PPC ads work on so many levels that they are almost ADDICTIVE in their application. The most popular form of pay per click is buying a listing on the search results pages of the major search engines, where your ad will appear alongside those of organic or non-paid search results. PPC allows you to set up your live ad and then practically watch the results unfold before you. The appeal with this kind of traffic is that it is almost instant.
With the correct targeting of your ad, the constant search by the masses for what you are offering places a targeted audience in front of your ad the moment it goes live. This means that, an unlimited number of targeted people can see your ad. You only pay when they actually click on your ad. With such fast search results, this form of marketing provides what is practically an unmatched opportunity to adjust your campaigns for better results in just hours or days, depending on your criteria.
How PPC ads work
Pay per click advertising is an online auction-style process in which a person bids money against other advertisers to have their keyword targeted ad listed on certain websites. The person gets charged when someone clicks on their ad, regardless of how many times the ad was seen. There are two main types of PPC advertising.
PPC search allows a text ad to show at the top or side of the search engine page and is positioned against other ads depending on its bid, as well as its quality score as determined by the search engine.
PPC display shows ads that are influenced by the advertiser’s targeting selections, and appear on the content pages that are relevant to what the searcher is reading, as well as their previous browsing behavior.
Typically, PPC display catches potential buyers looking for information, whereas PPC search ads are more likely to convert as the prospect is searching for specific keywords and phrases.
Google, Facebook and Bing are the current predominant networks for PPC advertising, and they both employ the quality score method which assists in determining how your ad will rank. Scoring 1 to 10 from lowest up, you can assist your bid costs and ad placements by promoting your quality score through landing page and ad keyword relevance, and landing page loading time and quality. You will need to look into this deeper with the relevant networks before commencing your campaigns to ensure that you get maximum value for your money.
Before you set up any campaign in a PPC network, make sure you know the rules of that particular network. The process of setting up your ads in each network will differ to some extent and is beyond the scope of this guide to delve into the intricacies of any or each. To get started, however, there are some consistent, actionable steps you can take to getting your ad live online;
1. Your goal
Determine what you want to achieve with your ad – sales, sign-ups or inquiries.
2. Sign up
Select the network where you will be placing your ads and create your account.
3. Select keywords
Identify your relevant and related keywords and phrases based on buyer intention. Build out groups of themed keywords from which to create several campaigns.
4. Ad copy
Write the text for your ad and link the ad to a relevant landing page, ensuring all the pieces of your landing page are in place and working.
5. Keyword bidding
When you start bidding on your different keywords, be sure to set your budget, especially given that your early ad runs will be for test purposes to obtain performance data.
6. Activate campaign
Don’t forget to activate your ad to get your campaign up and running online.
Depending on the ad network that you run with, your considerations for getting your ad online will require you to follow each point at a much deeper level. You will need to think about Geo-targeting for your local area, whether you want your ad displayed on search only or on third party websites (Adwords), conventional or mobile targeting, quality score, and conversion tracking.
The best place to become proficient at the required steps is directly from the ad networks themselves. Once you have followed their guidelines and had all the pieces in place and activated your ad, the most crucial part of the process then becomes tracking your ad to allow for changes and improvements. Your analytics will assist your tracking efforts by enabling feedback on your keyword costs, click-through rates and visitor behavior on your landing page. From there, it’s all about optimizing your ‘pieces’ along the line for better results.
7 secrets to a winning PPC ad campaign
When a PPC ad hits the mark (read: targets), it can generate a lot of funds in a very short period. While much of the time your ads will require testing and re-working, there are some practices you can adopt to ensure a greater rate of success early in the campaign;
1. Keyword analysis
You won’t be able to compete against the multinationals, so your focus should be on long tail keywords based on relevancy. If you are targeting locally, include local keywords, and include your primary keyword in your solutions based headline. For even greater effect, you should group ‘related’ keywords based on buyer intent, and have themes of keywords around which you will build your campaigns.
2. Select one platform to commence
Many marketers jump between platforms with their campaigns looking for better cost and positioning. This is a recipe for instability, failed campaigns and a deflated budget. Select just one platform to learn it intricately before moving onto another.
3. Geographic planning
Target the audience to which you are trying to sell. This applies even more so if your audience is based locally. This will reduce the amount of clicks that will never lead to sales.
4. Landing page relevance
Paying per click can lose out quickly if you are not getting paid in conversions. Ensure that your landing page contains your main keywords and is relevant to your ad.
5. Stop testing…never!
Use A/B split testing and run different ads at varying times. This also applies to your landing pages. If you have no desire to test the elements of your campaign, then you are using the wrong traffic method here.
6. Don’t outbid yourself
Contrary to popular belief, your campaigns can still succeed if you are not holding the top position. Traffic to lower positioned ads is more ready to buy, resulting in less wasted clicks and better conversions for your campaign.
7. Your ad must be interesting
You need to utilize your limited ad space to captivate the attention of your targeted traffic. Learn some basic but useful ‘selling’ copywriting skills if necessary to know which ‘buttons to push’ to draw in your prospects.
The following recent press release offers some insights into the way a PPC management company achieves significant success for their clients through Google Adwords campaigns;
Advantages of using PPC ads
PPC is not for everyone because it requires a real discipline to control your spend. Ironically, this is just one of the many benefits of marketing with this paid traffic method.
You get to control ad copy, time of day, location, network, ad position all from your selected keywords and chosen sites.
Your ad can be online fast and provide results feedback very quickly to allow for changes where needed.
It need not be as expensive as many marketers claim if you are targeting the right keywords and utilizing various networks.
Geo-targeting can provide very targeted traffic.
Campaigns can be stopped quickly if they are not working.
It is easy to split-test landing pages for better conversions.
4 common mistakes that will kill your campaign
As effective as PPC ads can be, many fails to reach their full potential because of a variety of errors that people make. Four of the most common mistakes include the following;
1. Missing call to action
It may seem obvious to you that someone reading your ad would know that the next step is to click-through your ad to get from point A to point B. This is not always the case, and all of the great ads became that way because of their call to action. You need to instruct your ad ‘viewers’ on what they need to do next. Your call to action also needs to be succinct and relevant. If you want someone to ‘buy now’ as opposed to browsing further, then state that, rather than something vague like ‘click here.’
2. Sending traffic to a home page
This applies to all non-relevant search pages. Visitors want to land on the page that is relevant to their search term when they click through. If you direct them to a home or other page where they need to do further searching, there is a good chance that you will lose them.
3. Ignoring negative keywords
If you don’t want to waste clicks by having your ad appear alongside those with the word ‘free’ in it, then be sure to include your negative keywords to prevent this from happening. If your ad appears with those ads, people will still click your ad and cost you significant advertising funds.
4. Using broad match types
If your targeted keywords are too general, then your ad will appear for irrelevant search queries. This will attract more visitors to your site but will cost you dollars and reduce your ROI.
Drawbacks of using PPC
Anyone who is familiar with PPC advertising will know full well that it has its ‘frustrations.’ The most common include the following;
You need to be always testing and tweaking your ads to get the most from your campaigns.
It’s a short-term strategy. You need to pay for ads to be in the game continually. Clicks are not conversions. Even targeted traffic needs to be converted to sales. Testing can be expensive. With each click you lose budget unless you are converting.
Networks have strict guidelines regarding their terms of advertising. Breaking these rules can get your account banned – Google is renowned for it with their Adwords platform.
You always need to be staying on top of your PPC campaigns. The following link reveals a story that, while told a few years back, is relevant even today as a reminder of what can happen if you ‘drop the ball’ with your ads.
Managing PPC ad campaigns- the BIG picture
PPC is one of the most challenging areas of online advertising in which you need to stay on top of your game. Successful marketers know that when it comes to online advertising, you have to expect change. With Google consistently waging war on ‘the little guy’ and keeping secrets with its highly feared algorithm changes, you will only survive with PPC if you adapt to the changes and find ways to compete with the big players. Luckily, you have options. Take advantage of the consumer swing towards the other search engines, focus on highly targeted but longer tail keywords, and consistently test, test, and then test again. Persistence can bring special monetary rewards with PPC marketing.

The site averaged 60 million unique visitors a month and 215 million page views in the last quarter of 2013. It is among the top 120 most-visited Web sites in the world! Let me share some statistical fact about this site.
Slide Share receives 500 percent more traffic from business owners than Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn and 20% of the visitors comes directly from Google. Mobile views on Slide Share are also on the rise, having seen a 223 percent jump from last year (2012). The top 5 traffic referrers to Slide Share were blogger, Facebook, WordPress, LinkedIn, and Twitter in 2013.
Can you believe that? Can you foresee the traffic potentials here? It’s huge! The traffic is packed with business owners, so it could be assumed easily that they will not hesitate to pay money for right info.
Okay, let’s get to action if you don’t have any doubt on Slide Share traffic potentials. This site will let you post your content in their platform in two formats. You can post your content as the slide show, or you can post your content as pdf format. So before you upload your content to Slide Share, your content must be in either pdf or slide show. For Making PDF Files: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsWUFiE4tZs
For Making Slide Shows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knV7cUCT94o
Preparing your content for Slide Share is not hard. You have to note that shorter and more visual content saw the most success in the recent years on Slide Share. The average number of slides per presentation fell by 4 slides from last year, from 18.8 to 14.4. In line with the current trend, there were also 29 percent fewer words per slide in 2013.
So, the better content type would be:
not more than 3-4 short sentences per slide or page.
Not more than 12-14 slides or pages for the whole content.
Relevant Images or info-graphics in the slides or pages. And of course your links inside, importantly at the end of slide show or pdf files. So the content would be more like headlines of a presentation rather than details of each headline and sub-headlines.
Important: You need to prepare a short description of your content before you submit it to Slide Share. It will let your readers know what’s your content all about. It could be 3-4 lines, or it could be more. In addition, you should prepare a number of relevant keywords to your content. Carry out some research to come up with high searched keywords. It will come handy for Google’s indexing.
Now that your content format (in slide show or pdf), it’s description and keywords are ready, let us head over to Slide Share site at http://www.slideshare.net, and sign up for a free account if you do not have yet.
Login to your account and click on “Upload”. You’ll be taken to a page like this:
Select “Public” because we want to show our content as many eyeballs as possible, the more the better. Then click on “Upload” again. Here the interface will let you browse your computer and select your pdf or Slide show file.
Selecting the file you already prepared for this purpose will start uploading process automatically and a new page will open as bellow:
And that’s it. You have successfully uploaded your content to Slide Share.
You’ll be taken to next page and from here you can get an embed code to use to your site. You also can share your content to a number of social sites from this page. A confirmation email will be there in your in-box with confirmation.
Here is a easy method for those who need some immediate real human traffic, it may help some people here. I would assume many people already do this, but for those who do not, I hope you can benefit from it.
Here is a method to get instant traffic, in bulk from Twitter to your sites/landing pages .
Login to Twitter and where it says “Trends” in the left panel , select USA for the region.
Now you will see a list of the current trending keywords on Twitter.
For this example we will take a current trending keyword which is #cowboys (Dallas Cowboys team)
Now, If you already have many accounts to tweet from, all you need to do is tweet messages from each account that imply you have access to something exclusive like a link to a conference call with some team members, or anything that is pushing for urgency, such as a link to “a #cowboys locker room fight video that keeps on getting deleted but you have a current link to it here..”
Somewhere in your tweet you must use the trend keyword in it’s original form that in the trends list, in this case #cowboys
Tweet it from all your accounts and sit back and watch the hits blow up live with curious people, willing to click whatever you throw at them, just to see what you got…
If you do not have a large number of accounts to tweet from, simply use a solid tweet exchange site like youlikehits, write the tweet with your site/lander url and set payout to 15 points to get the most people tweeting your tweet. Depending on how creative you get with your tweet content, your results will vary, just keep working at it until you get the most clicks.
Keep in mind, the amount of followers you have on your accounts does not really matter here, since so many twitter users will click on a trending keyword/hashtag in the list and then click on “all”.
All your tweets will appear in their results, among the hoards of other peoples tweets in the results, on each refresh.
Keep refreshing the trends, keep current, when a keyword is no longer in the list, move onto another one,and repeat.
Now… the interesting part, how to monetize this instant traffic…
Viral scripts prompting the user to go through several shares/re-shares to get to the pot of gold they are looking for. (boost your popularity for anything real quick)
Youtube views (embed your videos on the lander, set to auto-play, be creative, keep the user on page long enough to boost retention views) Etc…
Do you know how to generate traffic using a blog? And turn that traffic to leads & even sales?
I hear you say, come on now! Everybody knows it!
All you have to do is, write a quality SEO article in your niche, post it to your blog, syndicate it across the web 2.0 & social media and see traffic pour in! Right?
Yes, everybody knows this proven old-school method, and this method works. Every time! Still, only a few people actually do it. Very small percentage of people. For others, consistency is the problem. There’ll be no shortage of traffic, leads and sales for you if you could overcome this very problem.
That being said, I like to reveal a cool method of blogging here. A method of blogging I learned from Lee Muray from his List Synergy. This is the best method you’ll ever be exposed to. Especially if you are looking for the answer, how to generate lead using a blog.
Aren’t there other cool methods to generate leads? Of course there are! Like YouTube marketing, solo ad campaign, product launch, you name it! These all are good lead generation methods.
I also generate a lot of leads using YouTube marketing. I have started this method recently. Actually, I am running a combo of blogging and YouTube marketing. And having results beyond belief.
But for a start, you can use just blogging as I did.
Product lunch is other strong lead generation methods, which could be extremely profitable. I know because I have lunched a few products and built my buyer’s list. But the problem is making the product. I mean making a good product that’ll sell in the market is not that easy. There are many “if’s” and “buts” behind a successful product launch. Every nitty-gritties should be attained! Blogging is much easier and fast!
Let me say a little about solo ad lead generation. That is before I jump into this unique blogging method.
This method of lead generation was never my favorite! The first reason is. It costs money! I run a few solo ad campaigns only to experiment with the method. Or to test the conversion of my funnels. I came to the conclusion running those campaigns, do not run solo ads if you don’t know what you are doing! You can lose money fast!
But I absolutely love blogging as lead generation because, it’s easy, it’s free, and it’s very do-able to all! But you have to be consistent about it. 5 good-quality contents are good. The more the better.
The method is simple enough! You’ll build your freebie list from your blog and will send them to your newest post. You’ll use that freebie list traffic to increase your blog traffic. Your list and your blog content grow side by side. The more contents you post to your blog the more leads you attract. The method runs in a loop.
Now, you may ask, how my list will grow? I’m the one who is sending traffic to my list! They are already subscribers of my list!
Well, when you post a good quality content, your list won’t the only traffic, your will be getting. A good amount of traffic will come from social media and search engines. There will be new subscribers each time you post.
Okay, let’s see what you’ll need for this method of lead generation and list building.
Obviously, you’ll need your domain and a word press blog hosted and all the necessary page set up. Install these plugins: -Yoast SEO, WP Super Cache, Analytics and Google XML Sitemaps. These are the least.
You’ll also need an auto-responder account to capture leads and place your opt-in form at your blog’s side bar. I use Aweber and I have no issue using it for six years!
You’ll need your lead capturing funnel, all setups. Including your freebie and squeeze page and follow-up sequence at your auto-responder.
Once your blog is ready. You’ll need the contents. I prefer writing my own contents. I advise you to do so. But you can outsource your contents if you have money to invest. It won’t be bad investment either!
But before writing the content, it is important to carry out a keyword research. I use free Google adward planner tool. Find at least 10 good keywords, closely associated to your main keyword. Write or instruct your writer to build contents around those keywords.
Good keyword specific content and traffic from your list to it will increase the value of the content in the eyes of the search engines. More traffic will flow to your blog. That means more subscribers to your list.
You must syndicate your blog contents to the social media through book marking and using other regular methods. This will bring a surge of traffic from the social sites to your blog. The social signal of your blog will be increased.
The results I’m having been using this method is mind blowing! That encouraged me to write this post. You should check it!
